Instructions to Students Applying for Registration Fee
Scholarship for MN State Science & Engineering Fair / Jr. Science &
Humanities Symposium
Students who
qualify for Federal reduced or free student lunches may qualify for an
MSSEF/JSHS Registration Fee Scholarship. 1-2 scholarships will be awarded per
region.
Because of
limited staff time and short deadlines between the last fair held and the state
events, the application process, information requirements, labeling and
deadlines will be strictly enforced. At the time of your on-line registration,
you are required to fill out an Intent to Apply for a Scholarship AND
your MSSEF/JSHS registration. Application deadlines are set individually
for each region based on the date of that regions fair and their MSSEF/JSHS
registration deadline.
Scholarship
applications must contain a parent signature and date and be scanned, emailed
and properly labeled (subject line & document labeled: 2012 John Doe
Scholarship Application) to contact@mnmas.org
or faxed to the MAS office @ 1-855-257-9264 by the Scholarship Application Deadline Date of your Regional Fair. Email is
preferred. NO LATE APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
You will be
notified by email of whether you have been awarded a scholarship within 2 days
of receipt of your Scholarship Application. Your application must be received
in our office by email or fax by your regional fair SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
